I am proud to be running for Assembly District 21 as part of the Dems United for Working Families. As a committed advocate for justice and equity, I bring a wealth of experience in politics, activism, and public service to this role. I stand firmly for progressive values, ensuring that the voices of working-class families, underrepresented communities, and youth are amplified.
As a college student pursuing a Political Science degree, I am deeply committed to supporting improved access to quality education and creating pathways to higher education for all. I believe education is a cornerstone of opportunity and empowerment, and ensuring that every student has the resources they need to succeed should be prioritized.
In South San Francisco, I’ve served as a volunteer and campaign manager, successfully organizing grassroots initiatives, coordinating outreach efforts, and collaborating with local officials and coalition partners to drive meaningful change. From mobilizing teams for voter engagement to crafting strategies for community-focused campaigns, I have demonstrated my ability to connect with people and bring their concerns to the forefront.
Beyond my political work, I am actively involved in community-building and advocacy. As a South San Francisco Cultural Arts Commissioner, I’ve collaborated with city staff to expand access to cultural and artistic resources, fostering creativity and unity through the arts.
As a delegate, I will champion key issues such as affordable housing, equitable access to education, environmental sustainability, and healthcare for all. My lived experience as a first-generation Mexican-American has fueled my unwavering dedication to addressing systemic inequities and creating opportunities for marginalized communities to thrive.
With your support, I am eager to continue this work as a delegate in Assembly District 21. Together, we can build a future that prioritizes education, equity, and empowerment—ensuring our shared progressive values are represented at every level.
