I am honored and excited to run for the District 21 Assembly District Election Meetings (ADEMs) as part of the DEMS United for Working Families Slate. As a proud Samoan American, I bring a unique perspective and an unwavering commitment to representing the diverse voices within the Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (NHPI) community.

My journey in advocacy and community work began in 2011, during my sophomore year at South San Francisco High School. I organized a peace walk to foster unity and understanding among NHPI students. This ignited my passion for community engagement and led me to work closely with NHPI groups in South San Francisco and the broader Bay Area.

For many years, I have served as a board member for Samoan Solutions, a nonprofit organization that provides essential programs for the Samoan and NHPI community within San Mateo County. In this role, I have supported initiatives that uplift our culture and address critical community needs. Additionally, I served as a camp facilitator at Camp Unity in Daly City for five years, empowering NHPI youth through summer enrichment programs.

My dedication to civic engagement extended to national politics, where I worked on the Clinton-Kaine, Biden-Harris, and Harris-Walz presidential campaigns, engaging the NHPI community to participate in elections. I also partnered with the U.S. Census Bureau to ensure the NHPI community in San Mateo County was properly counted in the 2020 Census.

I earned my Associate of Arts in Political Science from the College of San Mateo and my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Francisco State University. I am currently preparing for the LSAT, with the goal of attending law school in the fall of 2026.

As a state delegate candidate, I am eager to bring my extensive experience in grassroots organizing, community empowerment, and political advocacy to the California Democratic Party. I am committed to championing affordable housing, investing in education, addressing climate change, and removing corporate money from politics to ensure a brighter future for all families in AD21.
